Last week had been a tad bit
overwhelming what with classes starting again and boy, I’ve begun to hate Wednesdays;
imagine classes from 8:00-5:30 with only an hour break, it doesn’t help every
single class is being taught by the same lecturer. But I’ll survive. I think.
Here's what I am watching, reading and
listening to right now.
Under Locke, Mariana Zapata: I’ve begun reading my third Mariana
Zapata novel, Under Locke, and so far I’m liking it. After reading Wall of
Winnipeg and Kulti, I knew I liked her books. Some may consider her books too
slow paced (her books are of the slow burn romance genre, and by slow burn I
mean S L O W burn) but I enjoyed them
immensely. Hopefully, I find this book just as good as the other two.
XO, Jeffrey Deaver: This is a book I’ve started
reading a couple of days ago and so far it seems promising. It’s about a pop
star who has a dangerously obsessive stalker out to destroy her life.
Moreserrius: I’ve been listening to podcasts by Moreserrius
during my commutes to and from college and I usually end up cracking up few
minutes in. The podcast is recorded by two British Somalis, Yasin and Mussa, and
they discuss almost everything under the sun in a very light hearted and fun
manner. Listening to them has made my train and bus rides more bearable.
Dining together: It’s a south-korean documentary-like program -I’ve been loving- hosted by two well
renowned entertainers . The idea of the programme is to go to houses and ask if
the hosts could dine together with the families. It’s heartwarming seeing how the
families react to the situation and how welcoming they are.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: I love Kimmy so much, she’s so optimistic and
full of life and I find Titus so loveable and funny. This show is very
eccentric and keeps me laughing throughout each episode. I love it
